Motorcycle show continues toy run in San Mateo, California

December 18th, 2008

The Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows continues its national run setting up shop in San Mateo California through the weekend.

Presented by Toyota, the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® is touring the country in its 28th season, offering an all-access pass to the world of motorcycling. Taking place in the San Mateo County Expo Center, the motorcycle extravaganza will open its doors from Friday December 19th through Sunday December 21st. It promises hundreds of the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters, ATVs, watercraft and more, as well as vintage bikes, custom choppers, the largest ever fleet of manufacturer sponsored demo rides, fashion shows, new interactive seminars and more.

This 13-city tour will also give motorcycle lovers of all ages the opportunity to check out the latest gear and aftermarket accessories and see amazing live-action entertainment. The show is offering half price admission to female riders on Friday and children can enjoy the event free on Sunday's family day with an adult paid admission.

Due to the success of the show's toy drive at the Long Beach Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota benefiting ToyRide.org and the Spark of Love charities, organizers are having another one at Sam Mateo.

Bring an unwrapped, new toy valued at $5 or more with you to the box office and your purchase for one adult ticket will be just $8, plus you'll receive a coupon to redeem the 2009 Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota Calendar for free — all this as a thank you for supporting the San Francisco Firefighter's Toy Program.

For the 16th consecutive year, Cycle World, the world's most popular motorcycle magazine, is the title sponsor for the series and leading manufacturer Toyota will return for the 11th year as presenting sponsor. The Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota is the world's largest motorcycle and scooter show series.
